The idea behing the Smartek system started in 2016. After applying for our patent in 2018, we registered the company Smartek. The first blocks we made where small, initially intended for children +8 years, but we learned they could not be certified as a toy. Hence the +14 age and not a toy mark. After 5 years of trying to position the blocks in the market, we learned there is a miss match between the intended market and not being certified as a toy. Time to say goodbye and focus on something new. Something bigger.
